The first number one about bad reception?

It seems Lady Gaga has failed to master the art of leave to voicemail in 'Telephone':

The Plot

Lady Gaga struggles to tell her boyfriend? (through stuttering her words and massive reception problems) that she doesn't want to take his call. Albeit not because she doesn't like him, she's just kinda busy because she's trying to party and she clearly can't text him because she has a drink in her hand, duh! So then her favourite song comes on and she starts to get a bit stressy and he's obviously not getting the message that she doesn't want to talk because Mr Gaga is STILL on the phone (despite having not got a word in yet)!! So Gaga loses the will to even string together a sentence and starts grunting eh, eh, eh and she's like "You know what, I can't deal with this right now...like soo trying to party and sip some bub" (I'm going to translate that as bubbly for those of you who aren't fluent in Gaga). Enter Beyonce avec gangster rap to tell him straight that he's blowin up her phone! But this guy's clearly got some resilience because he's still taking the abuse until he gets the opperator.

So my theory is that if she'd have tried voicemail she might have actually found out what he was calling for!

I hate to sound Simon Cowell-esque but...

in the words of the high-trousered leg-end "I think you have to judge everything based on your personal taste. And if that means being critical, so be it".
